Five Ways To Improve Your Oral Hygiene Routine

We all want a beautiful, shining smile but maintaining a healthy mouth goes beyond appearances. A good oral hygiene routine can help minimise your chances of mouth cancer, gum disease and many other mouth-related ailments that can cause pain and discomfort. A great oral hygiene routine will keep your teeth looking great and the rest of your mouth clean and healthy.

Don’t forget your tongue

Tongue cleaning is often neglected but is instrumental in battling smelly breath and removing bacteria. To do this some manual toothbrushes have rubber grooves on the other side of the bristles that are designed to scrape your tongue, you can buy dedicated tongue scraping tools or simply use the bristles of your standard toothbrush.
